Our Story
Persay was born from a simple observation: service professionals—accountants, lawyers, consultants, therapists—were using consumer chat apps to share sensitive client information because traditional client portals were too clunky for quick exchanges.
We saw tax accountants sending W-2s via WhatsApp. Lawyers sharing privileged communications through iMessage. Therapists coordinating via text. All because existing secure solutions felt like going through airport security just to check your luggage.
The problem wasn’t that professionals didn’t care about security—they did. The problem was that secure solutions weren’t designed for the reality of how people actually work: on their phones, quickly, in between meetings.
So we asked: what if a secure client portal felt like texting a friend? What if FaceID unlocked bank-level encryption? What if sharing sensitive documents was as easy as sharing a photo?
